California State Preschool Program (CSPP)

The State Preschool Program, funding by the California Department of Education Child Development Division is a preschool school program for children between the ages of three and five years who are from income eligible families. Plaza de la Raza offers a part-day program that currently combines with Head Start funding to offer children with full-day services. CSPP operates for a minimum of 175 days per year.

General Child Care

The General Child Care Program, funded by the California Department of Education’s Child Development Division that provides quality early education to infants and toddlers. General Child Care (CCTR) is a need-based program that Plaza de la Raza currently combined with EHS-CCP funding to offer quality comprehensive services at two locations. Parent education, referrals to health and social services are provided.
